Madurado en barricas de roble americano ex-bourbon y posteriormente, ese single malt se ha afinado en barricas de bourbon que hab\u00edan contenido whisky muy ahumado. Ricamente c\u00e1lido, este single malt abarca un car\u00e1cter ahumado suave, mientras que en su coraz\u00f3n hay mucho de Old Pulteney. La combinaci\u00f3n de la influencia del aire marino infundido con sal y el humo de la turba crean un whisky con car\u00e1cter, profundidad e identidad reales. Con una riqueza que se extiende hasta su rico color dorado, este single malt ofrece mucho en t\u00e9rminos de complejidad y sabor mientras nos recuerda sutilmente el lugar donde comenz\u00f3 Old Pulteney.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<hr \/>\n<p>La destiler\u00eda <strong>Pulteney<\/strong> situada cerca de la ciudad de Wick, es la destiler\u00eda ubicada m\u00e1s al norte de Escocia. Una vez fue un importante puerto pesquero, especialmente para la pesca del arenque. La destiler\u00eda fue fundada en 1826 y lleva el nombre del entonces gobernador de la asociaci\u00f3n de pescadores Sir William Pulteney. A la destiler\u00eda s\u00f3lo se pod\u00eda acceder por barco. Tras el cierre por la gran depresi\u00f3n y varias adquisiciones, la destiler\u00eda fue comprada en 1996 por Inver House Distillery y los dos peque\u00f1os alambiques existentes fueron sustituidos por uno grande.
